Senior Consultant (M/F) Benelux in Luxembourg

Carbone 4 is the leading independent consulting firm specializing in low-carbon strategy and climate change adaptation.

Founded in 2007, the company's mission is to facilitate understanding of the challenges of ecological transition, to bring them to the attention of all, and to engage stakeholders in change by providing them with appropriate diagnostics and operational tools to help them build their development and adaptation strategies.

Since 2024, Carbone 4 has been operating in the Benelux region and is looking to expand its local team in Luxembourg.

The missions

• Business development and sales of missions in the Benelux region: commercial prospecting including the presentation of our offers and the drafting of commercial proposals, creation and animation of customer and prospect networks, participation in local events, particularly in the finance, agri-food, transport, construction, and industry sectors.
• Management and/or contribution to consulting assignments: carbon footprints, emission reduction trajectories and action plans, reporting support (e.g., CSRD), analysis of risks and opportunities related to climate change (mitigation, adaptation), strategic review of economic actors' climate commitments.
• Contribution to the internal work of Carbone 4's centers of expertise: analysis and synthesis work on specialized multi-sector topics, particularly for financial actors, participation in monitoring and communication.
• Contribution to the development of the Benelux business: market research, development of methods and tools adapted to the regional environment, creation of partnerships with local players, while maintaining close ties with the Carbone 4 teams in France.

Required profile

• Higher education graduate: Master's degree, business school, engineering school
• Proven experience in business development and partnership management, ideally in one of the following sectors: finance, agri-food, transport, construction, industry
• Strong intellectual curiosity about energy and climate issues, and a solid general knowledge of these topics
• Good analytical and synthesis skills (PowerPoint presentations)
• Comfortable with numbers and data analysis (Excel skills)
• Highly autonomous and a good team player
• Good interpersonal skills
• Very good command of French and English (read and written); a good command of Dutch and/or Luxembourgish would be an asset
