Areas of expertise
Paola joined Carbone 4 in April 2023, working in the modelling department of the IF Initiative.
The initiative models human activities and their interactions with the Earth system: its mineral resources, biomass and climate. By using this model to quantify prospective scenarios up to 2060, the initiative aims to improve strategic decision-making for companies.
Paola is a graduate of ENSAE, where she specialized in economic policies and dynamics. She completed her training with a master's degree in environmental economics and prospective modeling. Before joining Carbone 4, Paola completed several research internships in applied econometrics. In particular, she wrote a dissertation for INRAE on the impact of fossil fuel exploitation on the development of the agricultural sector.
