Jacques Portalier is co-director of the IF Initiative. This collaborative project develops tools and methods to help economic players imagine and build coherent futures compatible with planetary limits.

He has led a number of strategic analysis missions in the construction and transport sectors, drawing on his expertise in strategic foresight and climate and transport issues.

He spent 20 years with PSA, developing a broad spectrum of skills in development, technological and product innovation, economic performance, corporate planning, etc. As such, he has extensive experience of the technical, product, market and economic dimensions of the automotive industry.

Committed to environmental issues for over 10 years, in 2019 he worked for the Haut conseil pour le climat, developing his knowledge of climate policies.

Automotive Industry Project Manager at the Shift Project, he contributed to the French Economic Transformation Plan (PTEF).
