The Académie covers the key issues of the transition. Our courses are structured around 3 pillars: CSR fundamentals (Carbon Footprint, Climate and Biodiversity Issues, Adaptation), business areas (Finance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, etc.) and people skills (Eco-emotions, Influence and Communication, etc.). What subjects are covered by the Académie Carbone 4's training courses?

The courses offered by the Académie Carbone 4 do not lead to certification in the academic sense of the term (they do not award a State diploma or professional certification registered with the RNCP).&nbsp;However, they do lead to qualifications insofar as they provide concrete skills that can be put to immediate use in a professional context.&nbsp;A certificate of completion is issued for each course, and the Académie is Qualiopi certified, guaranteeing the quality of the teaching process and enabling funding through schemes such as the ESF+.

These concepts are then taken up again during the virtual classes to put them into practice through case studies. Our teaching approach aims to prioritise practical case studies and concrete examples to ensure that you are as operational as possible when you leave the course.

How does the Académie's pedagogical approach enable effective skills development?

Our Carbon Footprint training course does not issue a ‘Bilan Carbone’ licence, but gives you the keys to understanding the 3 reference methodologies: the Bilan Carbone®, the GHG Protocol and the BEGES. Certification or a licence is not a prerequisite for measuring a carbon footprint.&nbsp;The Académie Carbone 4 training course also gives you access to the carbon footprint measurement tool used by Carbone 4's experts. What are the payment terms?

C4A training courses can be financed by the OPCOs or by your company's training budget. Ask your HR department for more information.&nbsp;If you are a jobseeker, you can receive full or partial funding for your training from France Travail. Carbone 4 Académie training courses are not currently eligible for the CPF (Compte Personnel de Formation). However, there are other means of funding.

Most of our training courses are online and are divided into two parts: virtual classes on Zoom (one virtual class per week) and asynchronous e-learning content on our dedicated platform, to which you will be given access before each course.&nbsp;The ‘Building your biodiversity roadmap’ course is the only one to include both online content (virtual classes and e-learning) and a day of face-to-face training at our Paris offices.
