A 2°C-aligned infrastructure portfolio
As part of Paris InfraWeek, Carbone 4 organized, in partnership with theFrench Asset Management Association (AFG) the event “Aligning with the Paris Agreement: The time has come!”.
On this occasion, the Carbone 4 team unveiled the new methodology developed by the"2 Infra Challenge" initiative for assess the contribution of infrastructure portfolios to the 2°C alignment. A 15-year 2°C-aligned brownfield infrastructure portfolio in Europe was thus introduced, marking a first in the field of unlisted asset management.
The method’s long-standing sponsors—the French Development Agency, EIT Climate KIC, La Banque Postale Asset Management, and Meridiam—also took the floor to share their feedback on this new tool. “This tool provides us with smarter geographic management, enabling the portfolio manager to be more transformational, make more informed decisions, and engage with investors in a different way”—Nicolas Blanc, AFD
