Morning Session - The Resilience of Industrial Sector Companies in the Face of Climate Change Challenges

On Thursday, September 25, more than fifty representatives from the industrial sector in the AURA region attended Carbone 4’s morning event.

After a discussion among our partners Jean-Marc Jancovici and Laurent Morel To discuss climate-related challenges facing this sector, participants gathered at three themed booths:

1. Challenge one's worldview and build new business models that take planetary limits into account

   ...with Paola Ricou, Jacques Portalier (IF Initiative), Carole BRINATI (Managing Director at OPmobility) and Thomas Gauthier (Professor at emlyon business school);

2. Assessing and Reducing Physical Risks at Industrial Sites

   ...with Axel Derouet, Romain Grandjean (Carbon 4 Adaptation Division) and Christophe Voisin (Director of Sustainable Development at Renault Trucks);

3. Take action to adopt a low-carbon approach and reduce your reliance on fossil fuels

   ...with Bastien Nossek (Carbon Mitigation Division 4), Marion Audouard and Quentin Servan (Head of Transformation and Climate Strategy Project Manager at, respectively) Pellenc ST).

All while exploring the design-fiction exhibition co-created with Stratum, School of Design and Estelle Berger, raising questions about our outlook for the coming years.
