“Adaptation: Occitanie Must Rise to the Challenge of the Century!”
Roundtable Discussion on Tuesday, October 24, in Toulouse
On Tuesday, October 24, Carbone 4 was pleased to visit the Meeting Lab in Toulouse to moderate the morning roundtable discussion titled “Adaptation: Occitanie Must Rise to the Challenge of the Century!” alongside Jean-Marc Jancovici and Stéphane Amant, head of our Toulouse office.
Alexandre Florentin, in his capacity as a Paris city councilor, presented his report, “Paris at 50 Degrees,” along with the lessons to be learned for the Toulouse metropolitan area.
Several speakers then engaged in a discussion with Jean-Marc Jancovici and the audience on the topic of adaptation and the current and future challenges facing the Occitanie region:
Céline THIAVILLE | Member of the Executive Committee of Crédit Agricole Toulouse 31
David Anglade | QSE Manager at SAVASEM (Ariège ski resorts) and Co-President of Mountain Riders
Jérôme NATTA | General Manager of SETOM (a Veolia subsidiary), Water Manager for Toulouse Métropole
More than 60 people attended this morning event to listen to us and join us in the discussion.
The discussions provided valuable insights into the impact of climate change on these various organizations, as well as the proactive measures they have taken and plan to take to address it.
