2022 Freight Decarbonization Survey
2022 Freight Decarbonization Survey
Freight transport is a key issue in the fight against global warming. While there are many ways to reduce emissions, there are uncertainties regarding companies’ ability to take effective action.
Carbon 4 and bp2r Today, they are launching their major annual survey on the decarbonization of freight transport among contracting companies.
The previous edition of the survey showed some positive signs: decarbonization issues were becoming increasingly important to shippers, who were then beginning to set concrete emissions reduction targets. However, due to a lack of budgets and resources, progress remained slow, and expectations consequently seemed to shift toward carriers.
What about this year?
- Is decarbonization finally being recognized as a priority?
- Have specific goals been set?
- With real resources?
- What are companies' projections regarding alternative powertrains?
As a professional in transportation, supply chain, and/or procurement, we are interested in your perspective and analysis.
The survey is open through July 8 and is intended for professionals in the Supply, Transportation, and Procurement departments.
