Opening of the Carbone 4 office in Toulouse
Last Thursday, to mark the opening of our Toulouse office, Carbone 4 hosted a roundtable discussion on the economic challenges posed by climate change.
The energy transition and climate change are already bringing about shifts in the economic landscape to which stakeholders will have to adapt. In Occitanie, the two key sectors—aerospace and agriculture/agri-food—are particularly vulnerable to these changes, but the entire economic fabric must also prepare for a decarbonized yet more turbulent world: transportation, healthcare, housing, and so on.
Carbone 4 is pleased to now be able to provide a local solution and work closely with the region and its economic stakeholders.
Thank you to Christophe Cassou, climatologist, Research Director at the CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research), and author for Working Group I of the IPCC, for his introduction on climate issues and his call to action.
Thank you to the panelists:
- Aude Coupillaud, Head of CSR and Sustainable Development - Pierre Fabre Group
- Cédric Calvez, Regional Finance Representative - Bpifrance
- Bruno Dahan, Deputy Director of the Strategic Aerospace Sector - Aerospace Valley
Thank you to Meeting Lab for welcoming us to their magnificent event space.
Finally, thank you to the many participants in our first event in Toulouse!
