The Climate Crisis and the Biodiversity Crisis: What's the Connection?

Interview with Jean-Marc Jancovici, Arthur Pivin, Louise Badoche
Biodiversity is currently facing a major crisis. There is talk of a sixth mass extinction and a collapse in biodiversity: the rate of species extinction is unprecedented, and the health of ecosystems is deteriorating faster than ever before.
We also often hear about the dual climate and biodiversity crises, as they are closely linked and reinforce each other. Both are caused by human activities and must be addressed simultaneously in order to minimize conflicts of interest as much as possible.
To better understand the connections and differences between climate and biodiversity, and to explore how to address these two crises, we welcome Jean-Marc Jancovici, a partner at Carbone 4, and Arthur Pivin, a biodiversity expert, to this episode.
