Alain Grandjean has been appointed president of the Nicolas Hulot Foundation

Carbone 4 is proud to announce the appointment of Alain Grandjean, one of its founding partners, as President of the FNH.

Six months after Nicolas Hulot left the government, the Foundation for Nature and Mankind has established a new leadership structure: Alain Grandjean becomes President, succeeding Audrey Pulvar, and Nicolas Hulot, a lifetime trustee of the NGO he founded nearly 30 years ago, becomes honorary president. The FNH is also reverting to its original name and will once again be known as the Nicolas Hulot Foundation. Alain Grandjean’s appointment as president of the Nicolas Hulot Foundation underscores the fundamental link between ecology and the economy.

According to Alain Grandjean: “The FNH must continue to serve as a catalyst for the necessary transformation of our economies. I will ensure that this ambition becomes more tangible with each passing day. All sectors, including finance, must commit to an ecological and socially responsible transition—resolutely and with the energy and creativity of everyone, including businesses, which have a decisive role to play.” Recognized for his expertise on the topic of energy transition, with a particular focus on economic and financial aspects, Alain Grandjean has contributed to numerous seminal works in support of the ecological transition and has been actively involved with the FNH for many years.

Alain Grandjean, who is also a member of the High Council for Climate established in November 2018, will bring his expertise to the FNH, drawing on 30 years of experience as an executive and advisor to business leaders, as well as in the field of public policy.
