TCFD: When Corporate Climate Reporting Takes on a Strategic Dimension
TCFD: When Corporate Climate Reporting Takes on a Strategic Dimension
“Since 2014—and at an accelerated pace following the success of COP21 and the adoption of the Paris Agreement in December 2015—there have been increasing signs that the private sector is taking climate issues more seriously. The involvement and commitment of the financial sector have been one of the main drivers of this trend. In this context, the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures represent a pivotal step in mobilizing the financial sector in the fight against climate change.”
In this new publication, Carbone 4 provides an analysis of the TCFD’s final report, explaining the content of the recommendations and the specific reporting requirements for “high-impact” sectors.
By making the report’s content easier to understand, we hope to help ensure that the relevant stakeholders act on these recommendations promptly.
