Business Strategy and Critical Resources: To Infinity and Beyond?
Carbone 4's Strategy Division organized a webinar to present the publication "Business Strategy and Critical Resources: To Infinity and Beyond?"
What are strategic and critical resources?
What risks do French and European companies face in light of supply chain challenges?
In recent years, societies have faced numerous supply chain challenges stemming from a variety of causes: microchips, semiconductors, wood, wheat, and fertilizer.
These supply shortages have caused economic hardship and, in some cases, put the lives of vulnerable populations at risk, as is the case with the global food crisis.
Effectively and calmly managing this new reality requires strategic planning that incorporates a detailed understanding of resource dependence and physical flows in the broadest sense.
It is in this context that Carbone 4’s new publication proposes courses of action to limit the vulnerability of economic actors to pressures on critical resources by incorporating this aspect into their strategic planning.
Hughes-Marie Aulanier and Antoine Crépel presented this work and answered your questions on October 11 at 11 a.m.
