On June 18, 2019, Carbone 4 and ADEME organized a morning event dedicated to the
carbon neutrality in order to understand how the
Stakeholders in the construction industry can contribute to this new French goaland global which aims to lay the groundwork for a model that is more energy- and resource-efficient.
The sector, which accounts for one-third of national emissions (energy consumption for all purposes and the manufacture of construction products and equipment), has a key role to play in the
collective effort to limit climate change.
ADEME and Carbone 4 thus presented their
A Vision of Carbon Neutrality for a Real Estate Company (key pillars, proposed actions) following a review of the current context: the National Low-Carbon Strategy, the E+C- pilot program, various initiatives on carbon neutrality...
Benjamin Ficquet, Director of Environmental Transitions at Icade; Rodolphe Deborre, Director of Innovation and Sustainable Development at Rabot Dutilleul, as well as Caroline Lestournelle, Chair of the AIMCC Environment Committee, were also present to share their perspectives on how they approach their contribution to the goal of carbon neutrality:
- What role does neutrality play in their corporate policy?
- How does it fit into an existing or developing climate strategy?
- What are the levers?
- How can we engage employees?
- How should we communicate about this?
This event was hosted by
Julie Daunay and
Clémence Lacharme, a manager and a senior consultant, respectively, at Carbone 4.
