A methodological framework for assessing the actual contribution of companies to global carbon neutrality in order to best structure their climate strategy.
The NZI framework is based on three complementary areas of focus:
- the direct reduction of emissions
- decarbonizing the ecosystem (through low-carbon products, services, and financing)
- carbon sequestration (through the development of sinks, either within or outside the value chain).
These pillars help organizations maximize their impact on reducing global emissions and increasing carbon sinks.
