What will mobility look like in a low-carbon world?

Interview with Stéphane Amant, Louise Badoche
The transportation sector accounts for 30% of France’s greenhouse gas emissions; it is the sector with the highest emissions and must therefore play a major role in the transition to a low-carbon world.
The mobility of people and goods is at the heart of our way of life and our economy. But in the face of climate change—and because it remains too dependent on fossil fuels—the sector must now reinvent itself.
There are high hopes for technological innovation, but technology alone will not solve the climate challenges posed by the transportation sector.
- What are the drivers of decarbonization?
- Why is it so important to take action to promote energy efficiency?
- What will mobility look like in a world facing energy constraints?
These are the topics we’ll be discussing in this episode with Stéphane Amant, Senior Manager at Carbone 4 and head of the Mobility division.
