Assessing Physical Risks and Developing an Adaptation Plan
To achieve this, this comprehensive approach is applied in a targeted manner to all of your assets, sites, or regions.
Thanks to the training of about ten people and the rollout of the tool OCARA, the group was able to assess its vulnerabilities across all of its sites based on factual data and figures.
This pragmatic project made it possible to replace perceptions with tangible data, meet customer requirements, and develop a robust reporting system tailored to industrial realities.
For the Blainville and Lyon sites, the process made it possible to develop an adaptation plan structured around eight themes, comprising more than a hundred concrete actions (technical, human, organizational, and financial) to strengthen the sites’ resilience to the direct and indirect impacts of hazards.
Coordinated by the environmental manager trained by the Carbone 4 Academy, this action plan—which has been approved by senior management—helps identify priority initiatives, including short-term “no-regret” measures and the integration of climate resilience from the design phase of future projects.
